EXTENDED DEADLINE: MICAI-2011 10th Mexican International Conference on ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE November 26 - December 4, Puebla, Mexico www.micai.org/2011 (Near Mexico City, 1.5 hours drive; regular buses are available) EXTENDED deadlines: abstract: July 1; full paper July 7 GENERAL INFORMATION MICAI is organized by Mexican Society for Artificial Intelligence (Sociedad Mexicana de Inteligencia Artificial, SMIA). Each of the last recent MICAI events (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010) received over 400 submissions, in average, from over 40 countries. Selected papers after double-blind reviewing were published as Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence volumes. Submissions are invited on significant, original, and previously unpublished research on all aspects of artificial intelligence. MICAI is open to all areas of Artificial Intelligence, either research or applications. Papers must be submitted online using EasyChair system: http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=micai2011 . Papers must be submitted without authors' names, affiliations and self-references for double blind reviewing. Submission of the paper assumes that at least one author will register at the conference and present an accepted paper or poster. Full registration fee should be paid for each accepted paper. Workshops and Tutorials are planned as part of the conference. The SMIA is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of Travel Grants for students, who are the principal authors of accepted papers, attending MICAI-2011. PROCEEDINGS Papers accepted for oral presentation will be published by Springer in a volume of the series Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence. Papers must not exceed 12 pages, in LNAI format (www.springer.com/lncs). Poster session papers will be published separately by IEEE CPS (to be confirmed). Best papers awards will be granted to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places of each category. Special issues of journals are anticipated for best papers. At MICAI-2010, 60% of papers published in LNAI were invited to special issues of journals (including some ISI/JCR journals).
